These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of video production and AV services by Foundry Media ("we", "us", "the Company") to the client ("you", "the Client"). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services & Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. A project is confirmed only upon receipt of a signed agreement and the agreed deposit. We reserve the right to decline any project.

3. Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm booking.
  • The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the production date.
  • For projects booked within 14 days of the production date, full payment is due at booking.
  • Late payments attract interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.
  • Delivered files remain our property until payment is received in full.

4. Cancellation & Postponement

  • More than 28 days notice: deposit forfeited, no further charge.
  • 14 - 28 days notice: 75% of total project value due.
  • Less than 14 days notice: 100% of total project value due.
  • Postponements are subject to availability and may incur rebooking fees.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, the Client receives a non-exclusive licence to use the delivered content for the agreed purposes. Foundry Media retains the right to use footage and productions for portfolio and promotional purposes unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing. Raw footage and project files remain the property of Foundry Media.

6. Revisions

The number of revision rounds included is specified in the package or agreement. Additional revision rounds are available at our standard day rate. Requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of delivery.

7. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate event information, venue access, and technical specifications.
  • Obtaining all necessary permissions for filming at the agreed location.
  • Ensuring relevant parties are aware of filming and have consented where required.
  • Providing timely feedback within the agreed revision window.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the total value of the project fee paid. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. We are not responsible for technical failures caused by third-party equipment or venue infrastructure outside our control.

9. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or venue closures.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
